HOW IT WORKS - BABYSITTERS

OVERVIEW

As a member of Surrey Childcare's growing register of qualified and experienced babysitters we are able to offer you the ability to take babysitting bookings at anytime. No need to worry about missing a call or not getting a message, our system will automatically send you a text message and an email with a clients booking request and all the details you need about a babysitting booking. Names, addresses, emergency contact numbers, etc are all sent to you automatically by our system, just print out an email and you have every detail you need.

Once registered on our system you will have a simple online diary. It's easy to use, the diary assumes you are available unless you tell it otherwise. So just make yourself unavailable on the days that you definitely cannot work.

You can even say unsure on those days that you are not quite sure what's happening yet.

That's it! We don't think that we could have made it any easier to receive bookings at anytime.

MY BABYSITTING DIARY

Once logged on to our system you will see your babysitting diary. Remember the diary assumes that you are available so simply click any day that you cannot work and make yourself unavailable.

If there is an evening where you may be able to work but are waiting for another arrangement to confirm or cancel you can mark these evenings as unsure.

That way our clients are still able to request a booking but are aware there is a possibility that you may say no.

You can of course change the status of any day if your plans change.

We hope we have thought of everything.

Once you receive a text message and email with a booking request, you must reply as soon as you possibly can. If you have not replied within 24 hours it will be reported to the office and you may risk being removed from the system.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

If you need to cancel a booking please call the client and explain that you can no longer do the booking. Please try to give as much notice as you possibly can.

FEEDBACK AND FAVOURITES

Once your booking has been completed clients can leave feedback about you. We see this before it is published online so in the event of someone leaving something that is unfair we can help you sort out any problems that may have arisen. We hope that you build up some great feedback as it will let clients know just how good you are. Clients can also make you a favourite which means that you appear at the top of the list when they search.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY

Surrey Childcare is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. As such we will not share any personal data that we hold with anyone. We will not sell or otherwise use data for any purpose other than providing you with this service.

WHAT WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO DO

We think that this is a great service. It allows you to take bookings without having to worry about missing a call or not getting a message. Your details, other than your name, age and qualifications are not available online so it is up to you to contact the client. All we ask in return for using this service is that you keep your babysitting diary up to date and that you contact clients that have made booking requests as soon as possible. Please remember that it is important that you contact the client as soon as possible even if you are not able to carry out the booking.
